The holiday season is a
great time to volunteer and reach out and help those in need. There are many
community organizations in Newmarket and Aurora that need
volunteers to prepare and serve holiday meals, collect and wrap gifts, visit
the sick or elderly or just spread some holiday cheer. If you'd like to help,
here are some ideas:
Town of Newmarket
& Tim Hortons First Night
December 31st, 2009. From 2:30-9:30 p.m.
Magna Centre, 800 Mulock Drive, Newmarket.
Volunteers will assist with set up/clean up, security, distributing glow bracelets, noise makers, hot chocolate, make ‘n take crafts, jumping castles & more.
