Literacy Council York-Simcoe
Volunteer Tutors are needed to work one-on-one with adult students for two - three hours a week. Help improve their basic reading, writing, math and computer skills. Prior teaching experience is not necessary and training is provided.

B.U.L.L.I.E.S. is a future non-profit awareness program on antibullying, abuse awareness, self empowerment and community spirit. Energetic community team builders and volunteers are needed to assist with event planning to help individuals in need and future leaders - our youth.

Girls Incorporated of York Region
Volunteers needed to serve on our Board of Directors and have knowledge and skills in at least one of the following areas: board governance, policy, finance, advocacy, fundraising programs. Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.

Youth Assisting Youth
One-to-one volunteers are needed to spend three hours a week with their matched child at a mutually convenient location and/or attending YAY special events. Volunteers share activities like homework, shooting baskets, going to events or talking.
