We are looking for energetic people with a love for children. Tutor a child from SK to grade 8 with math and literacy. We ask for a minimum commitment of 9 months to meet once a week for one hour at your local public library! Training, resources and references provided

Habitat for Humanity York Region

ReStore Truck & Van Drivers (Mondays): looking for volunteers 18 years of age and older interested in picking up donations of building materials, furniture and other similar items for resale. Must possess a valid G-class license, have automobile liability insurance, be able to do physical labour including heavy lifting and carrying. Be available for a minimum 4-hour shift each Monday.

In addition, volunteers needed as drivers for our day program, our Fundraising and Special Events Committee, Caregiver and Bereavement Support Groups, and for our Administration Team We are also looking for people with experience in Journalism/Writing for our Newsletters.

Aurora Seniors Association

Pianist for the Evergreen Choir. Pianist must be able to read music quickly at a grade nine or ten level. The genres of music chosen include popular, music theatre, folk, concert songs and inspirational pieces from the twentieth (20) century. The pianist must be available weekly for Wednesday rehearsals from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
