Board members needed to attend AHS monthly meetings and to support the organization through a variety of events. Experience in board development, fundraising, building community partnerships or public relations welcomed. Community-minded individuals who are looking for an opportunity to serve the interests of their town are encouraged to apply also.

Administration - Branch Front Desk Volunteer to provide reception and administrative support for programs and activities. Duties include phone and walk-in inquiries; provide all functions related to the HELP program; process First Aid registrations and general office administation duties. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be 18 years of age and a clear criminal reference check. Training will be provided.

Disaster Management (DM) -- Personal Preparedness Education(PPE)Facilitator The volunteer will facilitate Personal Preparedness Education programs to the public, youth and other interested groups in York Region. You will be required to have access to a reliable vehicle. You will be required to pick up and drop off equipment and materials from/to the Branch office in a timely manner. Attendance at PPE quarterly meetings and monthly general DM meetings are required. Training provided.
