1st Annual Student Tree PlantingIn co-operation with the Town of Newmarket and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, Neighbourhood Network is pleased to announce our 1st Annual Tree Planting Day!
The event is geared toward high school students, with schools taking environmental ‘ownership’ of their own neighbourhood. Planting a future...students for the environment.

No Time to Rest for Stronach: Era Banner Article2008 was a conquering year for former Newmarket-Aurora MP Belinda Stronach.
She beat breast cancer. She fought malaria in Africa. She bridged connections between neighbours.

"I need a holiday," she joked. "Next year we'll keep plugging away."

Shovelling a Family Affair for Volunteers: Era Banner ArticleWhen the wind blows and the snow gets knee-deep, getting out of the driveway is a hassle.
For seniors, a snowfall could mean not leaving the house or risk a fall.
Neighbourhood Network, a non-profit organization run through Magna, set-up a snow removal program, where volunteers are matched with seniors or disabled people in the neighbourhood, Neighbourhood Network co-ordinator Steve Hinder said.
